Synopsis

As a child, when returning from school, I used to pass by a garden with quince trees whose fruits would shine among the dark-green branches. I was fascinated by this view and always felt inspired and willing to draw and paint these Sun-filled fruits. My memory succeeded to keep this image for many, many years, so eventually this inspiration came again, being realised on canvas. In this painting I wanted to show how everything in Nature is alive and rational - the trees, the flowers, the grass... even the smallest insects. And they all sing and make music! - the music of the Universe, just externally restricted within the shapes and forms of the bodies, but in the true Reality - poured out boundlessly. The central figure with the violin is a Sun Being radiating shining beauty and filling everything with sweet tones.
