A collaborative, multimedia project inspired by the altars of the Renaissance and the Baroque, which can be seen as a representation of the journey of the human soul.
Altar of Archangel Michael
A collection of seven paintings enveloped in a representation of the All-Seeing Eye of God, forming my altar dedicated to Archangel Michael.
Altar of the Holy Spirit
My third altar is a specially arranged collection of paintings relating to the invisible Presence of God in our human lives – in our thoughts, our feelings and our intentions.
Composer: Renaissance composers on the Song of Songs Works: Works on Canticum Canticorum Suggested performance:Capilla Flamenca (recording label: Eufoda)
We have to be grateful! We have to be grateful for everything which happens with us, as everything in its essence is good. In the case of this painting, a butterfly is grateful to the dew drop, because the water always gives life. So here we have the butterfly and the dew drop as symbols of two sides - one which gives life and the other, which accepts the life with gratitude.
