The audio-visual medium of a video is a perfect way to experience both music and art simultaneously, and this is especially true of my oil paintings which have been made to classical music. The classical music connection with my paintings means that the best music for a given painting is the one to which it has been made; however, when groups of paintings or some of my other artworks are used, the music has a different relation: one of overall mood and similarity. In this way one can experience the various artworks in a different format, and gain an overview of them that can then be deepened by looking at them in the pages of this site. It is thanks to my wonderful collaborators Amalia and Ernesto from Spain, that a series of videos that gives precisely such an overview was created during 2013–2014. Each of these videos tries to combine appropriate music (in the videos with paintings it is usually inspired by one or more of the paintings in the given collection) with my art to give an aesthetic “multimedia” experience. These videos are also complemented by videos of individual works, which try to provide the same holistic aesthetic experience in various ways, e.g. with poetic texts or painting/image details. The latter individual artworks collection of videos is in progress, so if you are interested, you can return to this page once in a while to see the updates!
This page thus collects, or links to, most or all the relevant videos done with my artworks, with the exception of one particularly important video, namely, of the Altar of the Resurrected Sun project, which can be seen on the page dedicated to that project, as it is an essential part of it.
